BOI BIZ Pay 6.1

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a system that consolidates various banking features, enabling seamless fund routing and merchant payments through a single mobile application. UPI plays a pivotal role in boosting digital transactions and is widely adopted as the preferred digital payment method by customers in India.

Transitioning to UPI-based payments has garnered significant popularity and remains a favored mode of payment. Responding to the increasing demand for UPI QR Codes, banks have introduced BHIM BOI UPI QR Kits for eligible merchants. These UPI QR Codes are static in nature.

Currently, the bank does not offer a specific UPI-based merchant application for accepting payments. To meet merchant requirements for accepting payments via static and dynamic QR Codes, an application-based solution called BHIM BOI BIZ Pay App is being launched.

The BHIM BOI BIZ Pay App will serve as a convenient platform for merchants and customers to facilitate payment transactions. To utilize the app, individuals must possess an Android phone with internet connectivity, an active Bank of India account, and ensure their registered mobile number aligns with their BOI Account information.

The features of BOI BIZ Pay App cater to merchants:

• User-friendly User Interface (UI) for seamless UPI transactions.
• Dashboard displaying key merchant details and account balances on the home screen.
• Access to profile information and current application status.
• Generation of both Static and Dynamic QR Codes with sharing capabilities across multiple channels.
• In-app calculator for efficient transaction amount calculations and QR generation.
• Transaction history visibility for up to 90 days with the option to generate reports locally.
• Language support limited to English at the moment.
• P2M merchants onboarded through the application require branch-level approval for activation.
• Integrated support for lodging complaints through the mobile app which are reflected in the admin portal.
• Availability on both Android and iOS platforms for user convenience.
